I saw Avengers today and it was awesome!

And I should have seen the "unifying event" coming. We are dealing with Joss here.

That was my reaction was, too. I actually called my sister to ask why she hadn't reminded me this was a Joss movie before letting me see it.

LOL. And I had just figured that since he was playing in Marvel's sandbox, they wouldn't let him. Silly us - we really should know better. :-P

Actually, it was Marvel's decision, not Joss' to do the unifying event. Though when I saw the movie, I had the same reaction of "Of course. It's Joss."

That's interesting. I've seen some other things about it today and I think it was a smart move on his part to make Marvel say that it was there idea. Regardless of how in comic books, no one ever seems to be really dead. :-P

I haven't seen the film yet, though Nicholas has. He said it was amazing. Never forget, however, that you are dealing with Joss. He will break your heart for you. And make you love him and hate him and want to hunt him down and both slap and hug him. How does he manage that? Oh yeah, by being a frakkin' genius.

I definitely recommend it, even if it is "just a superhero movie". And I agree with that statement about Joss. :-P
