*sighs* I'm home now. No closing any bars tonight. Or staying up so late it's early. (Yeah, last night after I posted and then she posted, [livejournal.com profile] mashfanficchick and I started talking and didn't stop until 3:45 - so if the time hadn't been adjusted, I went to bed only 45 minutes earlier last night than I did the night before. Can you even call it night at that point?)

Today's cut-tag quote comes from Jennifer's husband, Todd, who came in for the day because he wanted to see Cliff and Michael. And we ended up watching most of the auction and one of the things they were auctioning off was a rather sizeable banner of Paul McGillion and Brad, the auctioneer, was giving suggestions for what to do with them and one of them was using it as a shower curtain. (And Todd had been listening to Jennifer talking about Paul all weekend when she'd call him.)

This morning was the celebrity breakfast with Cliff Simon and Michael Shanks. After we got down to the room and got our seats (same table as last night's and same set up), [livejournal.com profile] mashfanficchick made me go up to the room to get our table center piece from the night before so we could see about getting Michael and Cliff to sign it. (Which we had gotten Paul to do last night.) (TF people - I have to say it's a step up from last year's. At the rate we're going in about 5 or 10 years, we may actually have a really nice one. But the actors seem to get a kick out of it.) Anyway, on the way back down after getting said center piece, I get in the elevator with Michael Shanks and his handler and a couple other people and he said hi to me as I got in. Honestly, I didn't realize it was him right away. I believe I registered that there was a really hot guy in the elevator, but not that it was him. (Whereas with Paul I did right away. Go figure.)

We did have a good time talking with both him and Cliff Simon - both of whom I talked to. (This is a thing from a Buffy con [livejournal.com profile] nakedwesley and I went to.)

After the breakfast was Kate's photo shoot. I also picked up my picture with Paul from the day before - which I actually think turned out *really* well and I'm really happy with it. Kate's talk was a lot of fun and she is really adorable and funny. And listening to her talk about David is quite amusing too (since you know practically everyone had a David related question). She has a play running in NYC right now that sounds really funny. They had a special showing tonight, but there was no way I was going to be able to make it with the con. Plus, having to drive two hours from the hotel and get up tomorrow for work kinda put a damper on it too.

Elissa had gotten a photo op with both Cliff and Michael and did it as a group again. While Paul's had 5 or 6 of us, this one had 10. And that's not including the celebs. I got to stand between Michael and Cliff.

Cliff's talk was good and I enjoyed it, even though I had heard a fair amount of it last year.

We hung out and listened to the auction between Cliff's stuff and Michael's stuff since [livejournal.com profile] mashfanficchick had some autographs she needed to get.

I enjoyed Michael's talk, though it seemed like he got some fairly standard questions and stuff. And the photo shoot with him went really quickly. (I have to admit - they know what they're doing with that - they really keep things moving.) I did also get an autograph and I had to laugh - everyone's been personalizing for me this weekend and when I tell them my name, they write "Adr-" and then pause and ask how I finish it. Michael wrote "Adria-" and paused and asked if it was one N or two.

A bunch of us hit a nearby restaurant for dinner after that before going our separate ways.

And I think I've covered everything. Though I'm willing to expound or whatever if anyone's interested.

I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow after I finish going through yesterday and today's.

I do think it's interesting how going into this con, I was as excited about seeing [livejournal.com profile] mashfanficchick as I was seeing the stars. And Paul prior to this weekend was an "oh, that's cool" but that was pretty much it - much like Michael Shanks. And now I'm still feeling the same way about MS, but with Paul, I'm totally head over feet.

And now it's time for a nice hot bath and some sleep. I'm quite glad I don't have to go in until ten tomorrow.

Aww! That's sweet! 'Cause you know I pretty much ONLY cared about seeing you (and the thing that I'm not talking about until I get permission to spread it around, which was my reason for coming to the con in the first place). That said...

Bullshit. I love you, and you're a saint, but...bullshit. And don't even consider denying it: how many LJ posts have you made over the last few weeks that involved some variation on "And [livejournal.com profile] mashfanficchick hasn't gotten fed up with my geeking out yet..."? Just sayin'. *smirks*

And yup, I'm still up. Big surprise, no? ;-)

Re: part A - :-D

Re: part B - but, in my defense, most of the time it was just a general geeking out and not necessarily about Paul specifically.

Ok. How many times did you tell me you HAD to ask Paul a question? Or ask me what to ask him? Or obsess that you didn't know what to ask him? Or *glances at her open S&H fic* ok, I'll shut up now. *g*

Okay, that I will own up to. But, for some reason, my brain's categorizing that differently than a general insane geeking out because I'm going to be meeting him. I think because the question ties into the whole actually-talking-to-a-celebrity-when-I-have-the-chance thing that I've been working on for a while.
