Apr. 20th, 2004 12:10 pmHad lots of fun with
libralyte over the weekend. She got down here early Friday afternoon and left late Monday afternoon.
Friday night we rented Friend & Family and Mambo italiano. The first one was okay - somewhat funny and would be good if you're desperate for something to watch that deals with the Mafia and/or gays. The second was *really* *really* good and I highly recommend it.
Saturday we went to Christiana Mall and hung out for a while and I ended up getting TTT extended edition DVDs because they were only $40 (which was the cheapest I've seen so far). We also ran into Shannon, an old roommate and we didn't recognize her. She's lost *a lot* of weight. She wasn't very heavy to begin with (maybe needed to lose the proverbial 5 pounds and that was it) and now she's about half of what she used to be. Later Regina and I met up with my dad and went out for dinner before the two of us met up with Beth to go see RotK on campus. (I still love that movie to death.) We met Amy there and afterwards the four of us went to the Deer Park for drinks.
Sunday we hung out on Main Street for a few hours and looked around in the different stores and Regina wanted to see what all had changed since she had been down last year. After that we went over to Beth's house and the three of us went up to Concord Pike to the Barnes and Noble to look around. (And I'm really proud of myself for not spending any money in there since there were *so* many books I wanted. :-P) After dropping Beth off, we went back to Blockbuster and picked up Three Men and a Baby and Three Men and a Little Lady, since Regina felt like she had to "show me the light" or something. Both were lots of fun.
Monday morning we watched Mambo italiano again. While I was at class, Regina hung out at the library and visited with her old bosses. We hung out for a while after class and then I took her down to the train station so she could get home.
Watched "Spartacus" on USA last night and it didn't scare me as much as I thought it would. I actually enjoyed it. But I missed seeing Christian Kane on "Las Vegas". :-(
Found out today that there's new parts to the third arc of Tea & Biscuits. Yay!
