I have to admit - there are a couple of smart people out there. Amidst all of the candidate signs, at a couple of corners there are signs from a local martial arts school that are new since the political signs showed up. (Though I'm sure there's a couple of people who think it's for a new candidate who wants to "kick the old guard to the curb".) And there's a sign saying "Vote for Chef ____ for best brunch!" with a local restuarant.
