sam_gamgeeA "detour" aside (due to me not reading a road sign correctly), coming home was thankfully uneventful.
Most of this afternoon was taken up by chores, but I did go over to my grandparents' for a Memorial Day picnic of sorts - we had Popeye's chicken and some sides, along with corn. And homemade key lime pie for dessert.
And now I'm reorganizing my current knitting project (a sampler afghan for my dad and Cheryl's wedding, whenever it ends up being).
