I had a *FAB-ulous* evening tonight.

Jean and I saw La Cage Aux Folles. And it was A-Mazing.

George Hamilton played Georges. I honestly don't much about him, but he was good.

Christopher Sieber, on the other hand.... He played Albin and he was amazing. (Which I'm sure I said after seeing him in Spamalot.)

And I don't think I'm going to be able to listen to John Barrowman's version of "I Am What I Am" for a long while. Don't get me wrong - his version is great, and definitely an affirmation of being true to yourself. But Christopher's was *heart-breaking* because it was that affirmation after being rebuffed by the people closest to him (Georges and Jean-Michel). I really wish I could share Christopher's version of the song.

That's great that you saw the show. I have seen it and I enjoyed it, and you are right, there are two ways to sing it, happy and proud and then more heartbreaking.

Look back and what you wrote about George Hamilton. I guess you meant to say that you don't like him much?

I guess you didn't try to get an autograph? That's what I would have done, but that's my thing.

It's not that I dislike George Hamilton. It's just that I don't know him. I enjoyed his performance well enough, though.

This was the first time I'd heard "I Am What I Am" done in the more heartbreaking way and the way Christopher Sieber did it - just wow.

No, I didn't. I wanted to, but Jean couldn't wait around, so we left, since we rode together.
