sam_gamgeeI've got the internet back. It seems like the family's desktop is basically fried, but at least my laptop works with the Comcast ethernet that my dad got recently. I don't have MSN at the moment, but I am back on AIM. I did order a new laptop (from Dell), so it'll hopefully get here this week.
But I've actually been good and haven't been doing to much online and have actually been writing. I got my 12 page paper done yesterday, so I only have the 5 page history paper to do. And I think I've gotten to a pretty good place with my fics, so I don't think it'll be too hard for me to manage finishing them by the deadlines, as well as do the Secret Slasha fic. (Which I should be getting the pairing and stuff for tomorrow.)
I'm upset. One of my favorite radio stations, 96.5 The Point, was hijaked by Rocco, "the janitor", about a week ago and is now a hiphop station. I'm still in denial that this has happened and hope that it will be returned soon. But if not, I'm almost positive that by Boxing Day (Dec 26), I will be a hiphop aficianado of sorts, because I'll start listening to it instead of all my other stations (which will be playing all Christmas music). Does anyone know if hiphop artists even *do* Christmas music? Because I think that would be interesting. I'd even like to hear "Chestnuts Roasting" (even though I'm sick of the song), done by a hiphop artist.
