I'm just a regular Martha Stewart!

sam_gamgeeToday was day two of prep for the cookout tomorrow.
The grass was cut and weed-whacked and the first floor of the house was cleaned (dusted, vacuumed, tidied, and "mopped"). I say "mopped" because I used a Swiffer Wet Jet. It was my first time using one, even though it's been sitting in its box in the kitchen by the phone for a while now, and it was pretty cool. (And was definitely needed more than I thought. Will do the kitchen more thoroughly after the cookout tomorrow.)
But I think my MSN Messenger doesn't like all domestic stuff, as today is the second day it won't let me on. (Wouldn't even start up yesterday or today.)
On the fun side, I watched Some Kind of Wonderful today for the first time and it was adorable! I loved it! And I'm fairly certain that if I had been older when the movie had come out (instead of six), I would've totally had a crush on Eric Stoltz. (Hell, I might have a bit of one on him now. :-P)
And I went out to dinner with my grandparents. I had called to make sure my grammy was doing okay with the things she needed to do for tomorrow and next thing I know, I'm agreeing to go out to dinner with them. But it was nice to do it and we had a good meal.
