sam_gamgeeThe retreat finished on a really good note today. It's always amazing how quick it goes. Aside from some good spiritual growth this weekend, I got to play some fun games like Bananagrams and One Word.
The latter was fun because of the random things people would say. Like for the clues "a condiment/to enjoy", someone said (with much conviction), "Ketchup!" (real answer - relish). After the team's turn, her teammate was teasing her about it, and said something like, "I'm really ketchuping playing this game with you". Which struck me as really funny, and I snorted a little bit of soda into my nose. Everyone else's laughter at that only made me laugh harder. Note - when I start really laughing, my face turns really red and I don't breathe. (And any exhortations for me to breath will only make me laugh harder.)
I was hoping to see The Eagle this afternoon/evening, but it isn't showing anywhere near here. So, instead I think I might go see Beastly tomorrow after work.
