I took it. It said I had a Southern accent. Okay, now if anybody's heard me talk, they wouldn't be shocked at that! LOL

LOL. And something else gets filed under "Stating the Obvious...". :-P As I was going through it, I could tell my accent because it would do the "does X sound like 1 or 2?" and I'm sounding it out and going, "Neither? But closer to 2?" (It's a very soft accent in most respects.)

LOL. In my experience, it seems like if you're from either the MidAtlantic states (well, minus the NYC area) or most of California, you're "neutral". :-P Go figure.

We all have accents, it's just we don't notice them until we leave our areas. Accents are awesome, showing the linguistic diversity of our world. And I agree, everybody has a local identity.

I agree. An accent's like hair color or something. Accents and local identity make things interesting. (Like getting weird looks from people when I mention Punkin' Chunkin' with pride. :-P)
