Weathered Isabel okay - got about an inch of rain, some leaves blown around and two days off school.
Tried to make fudge the other day from a recipe I found, since I thought it might be a nice birthday present for
libralyte. Well, it turned out more like sludge. Tasted good, though, so I might attempt it again soon.
Saw Cold Creek Manor Friday with my mom and John. It was okay. It had its moments, but otherwise it could've been a lot better. I've decided that if I ever write a thriller, it's going to be set in either a ranch house or a split-level in a neighborhood, the climax is going to happen in the middle of a sunny afternoon and the villian is going to be played by someone like Debra Jo Rupp (or someone else equally non-evil). My mom even told me to stop giggling at one point (even though I was being quiet). I'm sorry, but if it's that bad, I have to laugh.
