Selected 20th Century Poets is going to be a hard class. And it's not because the material's hard, but the professor - he talks sooo slooowly sometimes. But I'm sure I'll survive, I've had worse classes.

I'm totally hooked on "The O.C." now. I was actually starting to like Marissa, but now...not too sure. And I think my dad is too, although he wasn't really watching it tonight.

Read the newest part of "Repossession" tonight. Talk about an emotional wringer. Story's still very good, though. Go read.

I was watching a rerun of the first "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" episode I've ever seen (the one with Adam) and it was a lot of fun, especially since now I know the Fab 5 better and know what to expect. Although, it was kind of weird because Jai (culture) wasn't in it, it was this other guy, Blair. Very weird.

honestly at this point, i really don't like any of the kids. i find the grown-up's storylines much more interesting. although i really wish they would integrate the grown-ups/kids storylines more. but, i love that camera swing thing they do at the parties to switch storylines at parties and stuff. i think that is the cleverest way to make a smooth transition rather than having a fade to black/cut thing. that's why i love all the parties everyone keeps throwing :)

and that blair dude? i felt like he barely participated in the whole process on queer eye. i guess i'm used to jai, and i like him, so this other guy left me a little cold (although i know he was the original cast memeber.)

you sound like classes are doing okay. say hi to susannah and melissa for me :) and tell them i miss them (if you run into s again.)

Yeah, I agree. I like the parents' storylines better. Though I kinda want to bitchslap Jim's wife (keep forgetting her name).

Also on "Queer Eye", I'm surprised at my self control, because I practically started squealing during the scene where Carson and Kyan are talking to Adam as he's about to get the wrap done at the spa and Carson's got his arm around Kyan's shoulders and Kyan's holding his hand.

I've had slow talkers. I've had fast talkers.

On the whole, a slow talker can make you want to pull your hair out by the roots, but a fast talker can confuse you and if you get behind, you'll never catch up. Note taking on a slow talker is easy. Note taking on a speed demon is a hand-cramp waiting to happen.

Lol. True, but it can also be hard if he goes off on something you don't need to write down and you start to drift off. :0)
