Today, [livejournal.com profile] drdeath, her mom, and I went to Hedingham Castle, which is a very well-preserved Norman Keep about half an hour away. (Well, it took half an hour, but considering it was on small country roads....) It was really neat.

This evening, [livejournal.com profile] drdeath had a Guides program (they're like the Girl Scouts). Originally, her mom and I were going to go to a show at a local amateur theatre, but it was sold out. So, instead, we went to the movies and saw Despicable Me - which was cute and very fun. And the 3D animation was very well done too - it was actually worth it.

Thanks for your updates during your trip. I am enjoying reading them.
i also liked Despicable Me. Especially at the end when he was telling the story of the three little kittens. I am also really into castles. John Barrowman's show "Keys to the Castle" is free on the internet and that was a fun show.

I'm glad you are. :-) I liked the story at the end too. And the castles were amazing. I'll have to look into the show, it sounds interesting.
