Oct. 18th, 2010 09:21 pmToday we went to Ipswitch and walked around the shopping district and I picked up a few things for people (and myself). And we had lunch in a fifteenth century church that's been converted into a cafe. (And I kept thinking about Stardust while we were there.)
From there, we went to
drdeath's brother and sister-in-law's house and got to see them and her niece (who's seven months and adorable). And their six o'clock children's hour of tv is... odd. We had a good laugh over it, though the baby seemed rather enthralled.
I think I'm fairly well-acclimated now. Jetlag's definitely done with. Driving on the "wrong" side of the road and roundabouts don't seem quite so weird. I've drunk more tea in the past three days than I have in the past month - or so it feels like. :-P And I've started thinking with a bit of an English accent (and English phrases) and I can hear myself automatically trying to speak with one and using the correct "lingo". :-P
Though, the five hour time difference still trips me up a bit, when I think that it's 9:20 here, but 4:20 at home.
