And so begins the season (or two) of me wondering how the hell it feels colder than it actually is inside my house. The thermostat says it's 67, but it doesn't feel like 67, at all. And it's a fairly new system (3-4 years).

Anyone have any ideas?

Hope you've warmed up a bit by now.

I assume you were aware that Rachel Maddow (of MSNBC) was broadcasting her show from the Deerpark Tavern the other day. Did anyone you know get on camera? :) Just watching it now.

Yeah, I have warmed up. I'm still confused by the system though. I turned the heater on yesterday and the thermostat said the temperature was 68 and I left the heater set at 68, figuring that it would stay that way overnight, but as soon as I set it, the heater started running. Go figure.

I actually did not know that. And, considering it's Delaware, there's a good chance I do know somebody on camera. :-P I'll have to go watch.

My air conditioning was like that at the old place. As soon as the temp rose at all, the air came back on. It was very annoying. My thermostat here is 'less advanced' and has two controllers. I think that means I can set a max and min temp. Much better.
