Yay! So I survived Saint Joan. Today was our final performance. The past five performances (Thursday, Friday, 2 on Saturday and today) went really well. No mishaps aside from the normal dropped lines and minor things that can't be avoided sometimes.

I'm still not totally used to seeing the guys (actors) in their undies when I'm doing my preshow set-ups. Believe you me, it's not bad - it's just distracting! (Especially since most of them I just want to stare at.) Like the other night, I walked into the Dance Studio (one of the backstage rooms), and Ceeko was changing for the photocall and he was bare-chested and wearing these tight pants and I practically started drooling.

And I need help on guy stuff! There's this one guy, Mike, who is *such* a sweetie, and I kind of like him, but, you know, I don't want to say anything to him and I don't know what to do!

yeah. we combine that with plan a. bingo. although i fully approve of you asking if he needs to be warmed up...or needs someone to lean against. well, if i have an id by your b-day, i can come drinking and delicately broach the subject :) or i could just show up at the theatre randomly and say, "oh, so you're the guy a's been swooning over." *g*

Oh, I'm sure that second quote would go over *really* well. :0) Well, if you don't have an id, we can go to The Trap - which doesn't card when you go in - and I'll buy you a drink. Now, which subject will you be broaching? I just want to know so I don't get all flustered and indignant in front of him. (And so I can at least *try* to talk you out of it.)

i wanted to broach the fact that you think he is *such* a sweetie and you kinda like him (really you should be telling him this yourself). and you do know that you will never ask him out or do anything about this, right? you'll just pine in silence (although you'll get a really nice outfit outta this for free *g*). i think it would be good for your ego to ask. then at least you can say you tried-and it'll be good for future practice.
(praying the reverse psychology will work, but doubtful since i know how stubborn you are...you're not really shy and scared, just need to find the right words.)

I know I should tell him myself, but still.... Yes, I know I won't do anything. I'm one of those suffering in silence type of chicks. But what if he says no? How will that be good for my ego? Well, reverse psychology might be working. *But* I really am shy and scared and I do have the right words. :0)

Well, I've decided that no matter what I think I am going to ask him to go with me for a drink on my birthday. But if something's going to happen between now and then, you've got to help me there. And remind me when it gets closer to my birthday. :0)
