I'm really glad it's Friday. It wasn't a bad week, just long and a bit crazy.

Favorite things overheard after giving out money to students who sold their books back:
"It's like Christmas!"
"I think I just doubled my bank account."
"I hope I don't get mugged on the way home."

For ours, if they're being used again, the students will get 50% of the new price (even if the book's used). If it's not being used but we can send it to another school, they'll get about a third. Otherwise, its theirs to do with what they will. (And I've had a few ask me what they should do with them and I tell them - "Throw them out, donate them somewhere, use them as a doorstop, use them as a bonfire starter..." - the last one always gets a laugh.)
