The Bad: While Patch's itching has gone down in the week since she's been on the medicine, she's still itching. Plus, she's hardly eaten, so my dad's decided to stop the antihistimine for a couple days to see if her appetite comes back. And she's losing fur in various spots - which I'm hoping will come back.

The Meh: More snow. Plus winds this time. The plus side to this storm is that we're not supposed to get much, and it's not supposed to impede my going to eternalmusings' house.

The Good: Going to eternalmusings' house for the weekend. \0/ Spending time with her is always of the good. And I just need to get *away* for a while.

I had this problem with my cat recently. Itching, pulling fur, no appetite. Have you looked into food allergies? Beatrix was allergic to the regular food and as soon as I took her off grain and fish, she improved in less than a week.

Thanks. :-) And while I don't want to rule anything out just yet, it seems kind of odd that she suddenly developed an allergy to the food she's been eating her whole life - and that her half-sister never had a problem with either. Though, depending on how things go, I'll make sure my dad mentions it to the vet when he takes her back.

Bea came down with it within the last months. It got worse as time went on. Finally I took her to the vet and the vet said "Sounds like allergies." Bea is doing well on her more expensive food (I don't know what type of pet you have) but if you have a cat or dog, Bea loves this stuff:
