sam_gamgeeMy snow day was nicely unproductive. I read some fanfic and watched some Oz.
And then my dad and I went to our neighbors' for dinner. They made us dinner as a part "thank you" for snow management and also as a just because. And it wasn't hard to see that they're Italian with the amount of food they made. :-) But it was a good time.
I'm supposed to have off tomorrow too, but my dad said he'd take me into work, so we'll see if my boss will let me stay or if she'll send me home. (As far as I know, if I don't work, it's not going to get counted as vacation or anything.)
Spam email subject from the AFA Action Alert: "Obama's new military: Gays showering with straights". OMG!!!!! Gays are showering with straights already! And they've been doing it for God knows how long with no problems!
Got this from my Lefty page-a-day calendar - "Psychologist Dr. Theodore Blau observed that southpaws are likely 'to be imaginative and for some peculiar reason prefer swimming underwater, much more than right-handers'. Maybe this accounts for the success of famous aquatic lefties Francis X. Gorman, Greg Louganis, and Mark Spitz!"
And I concur with that! I've always been imaginative/creative and I've always prefered swimming underwater. Go figure.
