sam_gamgeeOw. My feet hurt. But it was worth it. The mid-season party (aka "The Nocturnal Gathering") was tonight. Everyone got dressed up as a "creature of the night" - lots of interpretation and basically it was dress nice/wear a costume. There was everything from Oberon to some fireflies/lightning bugs to Batman to a Bacchae to the Tooth Fairy. Even some crossdressers (one of whom looked dang good - like, Adena good) and some girls dressed as a couple of the "Sex and the City" characters - but dead since the show's been cancelled. But the whole thing was free and lots of fun - some drinking, some dancing. (Even got a number of compliments, Regina!)
But argh! I really need to learn how to be more outgoing and stuff because there were a couple of guys that I really wanted to dance with and I did with one, asked another (but he declined - too tired), and I chickened out with the third.
Was going to see That Scoundrel Scapin tonight, but there was a thunderstorm, so it was cancelled. I'll try again either tomorrow or next week or something.
I think my mind melted over seeing Drew in that skirt and backless halter top. And he may not be the sexiest guy by most standards, but *damn*.
