I decorated two Christmas trees today and spent more time with my family outside of a holiday for the first time in a long time.

Early in the afternoon, I went over to the grandparents' house and had lunch with them, my brother, and his girlfriend (home-made turkey noodle soup - yum!) before decorating their tree.

Then about 3:30/4:00, my brother and I came back here and got the tree inside and set up with my dad, then decorated it. After which, we ordered a pizza for dinner.

All in all, it was a good time and I'm now really in a festive mood, the food comments aside. (My grammy and brother making a comment as I was buttering a roll. Then, my dad telling me not to worry about the last piece of pizza because he was going to eat it. *rolls eyes*)


And I was out doing some Christmas shopping this morning and was very surprised when I heard the radio announcer say, "And next up, music from Straight No Chaser". It was probably good that I was pulling into the parking lot during the commercials because this song rocked.

Normally, I'd do the "grabby hands" and say, "YES!!! GIMME!!!" but I already have the first cd and I'm going to go buy the second one as soon asap. :-D

(Need to keep them making music and touring somehow, right?)
