(no subject)
Oct. 7th, 2009 11:04 pmSince about the middle of season 2, I've been wanting to write a "Chuck" threesome fic where they set up a program to make more teams like Team Chuck. Spoilers would be up through "Chuck vs the Suburbs" - which made this sorta, kinda canon.
And then my motivation for it left.
I) Part 1 – They have a new mission directive
A) Because of Team Chuck’s bag-and-tag record, it’s seen as an advantage to have more such teams
1) They’ll still set up a computer Intersect
(a) It’ll help keep the heat off of the teams (at least for a while)
(b) This way it can be “business as usual” for the those who used to work with it
(c) It’s seen as a way to revolutionize what they’re doing
2) Chuck’s conflicted about it
(a) He’s excited about the new opportunity, plus less stress
(b) But now that he’s leaving the Buy More, it’s scary
(c) And he’s worried about his family
3) Casey and Sarah aren’t all that happy about it either
(a) Casey thinks he’s being punished
(b) Sarah can see the big picture, but prefers to out in the field
(c) They take some persuading, though
B) They get set up in Stanford
1) While they have guidelines, they have to make up their own curriculum
(a) Casey thinks it’s a pain in the ass
(b) Sarah’s ambivalent
(c) Chuck thinks it’s a great opportunity
2) They finally agree
(a) Train the civilians in firearms and hand-to-hand
(b) Teach the agents on working together
(c) Teach the civilians how to handle their new lives (this is mainly Chuck’s bit)
3) Class starts
(a) There’s animosity between the agencies
(b) The civilians are scared of both sides
(c) Our trio thinks that they’re in over their heads
C) Everyone else’s reactions
1) Ellie
(a) She’s excited for him
(b) But also nervous for him
(c) Devon helps her let go
2) Morgan
(a) Begs Chuck to take him with him
(b) Begs him to get him on the Nerd Herd
(c) Sulks for a while
3) Everyone else at Buy More
(a) Lester begs Chuck to take him and Jeff with him
(b) Big Mike begs him to stay – offers him the asst man pay, but without the responsibility
(c) Anna asks if she can take his place as the top Herder
II) Part 2 – Things take a turn for the surreal
A) Classes go really well
1) They have the teams doing bonding exercises
(a) This helps them build trust and become a cohesive unit
(b) Helps them get their stories straight for “the outside world”
(c) Helps bridge gaps in other areas
2) They show the civilians things related to Intersect knowledge
(a) This is to help them and their handlers get used to the flashes
(b) Also so they could work on signals and such
(c) Some do great – others, not so much
3) They have them go on field trips and such to get used to it
(a) Team Chuck splits up and each of them takes one team out at a time
(b) They’re very careful with them
(c) Casey and Sarah are really concerned about Chuck, he promises to be good and in radio contact
B) It starts with Casey getting drunk
1) He starts saying things:
(a) He thinks they’re being punished for being too good
(b) He’s jealous of what Chuck and Sarah have (however real or fake)
(c) He thinks it’s too late for himself to find someone (his loneliness is evident)
2) Chuck and Sarah try to do little things for him as a result
(a) He’s surprised by it and isn’t quite sure how to respond
(b) He becomes gruffer towards them, but they don’t back down
(c) The class doesn’t know what to make of them
3) Casey does slowly warm to them
(a) He lets them into his “inner sanctum” (aka apartment), hoping to appease them
(b) It works somewhat, but they keep at it
(c) It starts weirding him out
C) The three of them do it once
1) It’s after a “thing” thrown for the first graduating class
(a) Everyone’s very happy with how the class turned out
(b) The teams are assigned various locations
(c) It’s really swanky
2) They’ve all had a little too much – which helps lubricate it
(a) They go back to ____ and start talking
(b) One thing leads to another and . . .
(c) They do enjoy it
3) The next morning is a bit awkward
(a) Especially on Casey’s part (really) and he makes a quick exit
(b) Sarah and Chuck enjoy what they can, though
(c) Then they agree to go after him
III) Part 3 – They become a “true” team
A) Sarah and Chuck have to track Casey down
1) He’d gone to the Buy More (maybe Morgan tips them off?)
(a) It’s “safe” there
(b) “I think I’m broken.”
(c) He looks completely lost
2) Sarah and Chuck don’t know what to do for him
(a) Chuck tries, ends up babbling, shuts up when Casey glares at him
(b) Sarah’s much more succinct
(c) It doesn’t really work
3) They get him to come back with them
(a) Chuck offers to drive the Crown Vic and Casey glares at him
(b) Sarah ends up riding with Casey
(c) Chuck and Sarah don’t know what to do
B) They hatch a plan – seduction!
1) Chuck’s a little nervous about it
(a) He’s straight (though maybe just a tiny bit curious)
(b) Casey can kill him with his brain
(c) How’s he going to explain this to Ellie?
2) Sarah talks Chuck down
(a) She really just wants to turn the heat up – not necessarily do anything (but maybe)
(b) Casey’s really vulnerable right now & needs support from them to be more in touch w/ his emotions
(c) “Let’s not jump the gun – there may not be anything to tell.”
3) They implement their plan
(a) Chuck follows Sarah’s lead
(b) They don’t let Casey alone for long and probe him
(c) He thinks they’re crazy
C) It does develop into something more
1) Casey makes the first move – he kisses Sarah
(a) Chuck’s complicit too, so he has to stay (gets kissed as well?)
(b) One thing leads to another and they do it sober
(c) They don’t let him get away the next morning
2) They pull him into doing borderline date/friend stuff
(a) They find that he really is naturally gruff/angry, but more gentle with them
(b) Chuck tries “coaching” him on using all of his emotions and Casey growls at him
(c) Case does regain his footing and seems in a better place
3) They find they’re tentatively moving towards being a threesome
(a) It scares all of them, but Chuck gets over it first (because of his recent life experiences)
(b) Chuck’s family finds out and is super supportive – which helps a lot – especially for Casey
(c) It’s a big thing for Casey and Sarah
