Oct. 3rd, 2009 11:59 pmOkay, so technically, it's 12:30 am Sunday, but I'm filing this under Saturday, since I still think it's Saturday.
I was actually home last night before midnight, which was a bit of a surprise. And the show went well last night too.
Today was a good, relaxing day. I watched this week's episodes of "Heroes", "Castle", and "The Mentalist" and worked on editing my SGA Big Bang story.
Tonight's show went very well again. There was a younger crowd than last night, which is good. (We do love the old folks who come to the theatre, but it's nice seeing a younger crowd.) And it's interesting hearing where people laugh - there were some instances where the folks last night laughed where the folks tonight didn't and vice versa, and times when neither group laughed and I'm thinking, "That's funny! Why aren't you laughing?"
Afterwards, a bunch of us went out to Iron Hill Brewery for drinks and food. I was able to hold my own at making small talk and it was fun. (And, yes, I did have an Electric Blue Martini and creme brulee.) And it was fun listening to Walt and Walt talking about some of their travels. (They've been together for nine years and they're *adorable*.)
I walked the block back to the theatre with them, J.R., and Tina and found my car was mostly still parked in. (I could get out, but I'd have to do some *very* *careful* wiggling. And I was like, "Oh, I'll go back to the restaurant, since they're finishing up, and see who's got which car." But Short Walt got to thinking and between him and Tina, they manuevered me out (with me going, "I can wait!"). And then Jeff and Marcia came up and were watching us and Jeff and Tall Walt helped some too. And Marcia was taking pictures with her phone.
I love this theatre company. :-D
