Oct. 1st, 2009 11:59 pmWe had our final dress rehearsal/preview tonight and it went well - which is good. We had maybe half a dozen people in the audience, which we needed to help gauge reactions to lines and such and I think they definitely helped.
Funny quotes:
One of the acresses, "Ow. I hit my arm on the pteradactyl." (She actually hit it on what our stage manager has been calling a peridactoid - it's a triangle type set piece.)
One of the actors, who's a solid guy and wearing a bald cap, "I've been doing the voice of the Wrath of God and now you want me to have the presence of the Wrath of God too?"
Tanya, the director, "You're not the Wrath of God, you're Daddy Warbucks."
Hopefully this means tomorrow night's opener will go well.
And how is it October all ready?
