1. Forgot to mention yesterday that when I was leaving the restaurant after finishing lunch, I made eye contact with a little girl in a stroller, who was about one (not much more, I don't think), and she raised her arms to me and did the grabby/'pick me up' gesture. I smiled and said, "I'm sorry, but I can't pick you up right now," and her parents laughed. She was really cute.

2. First Greg Grunberg tweeted about how fantastic "Heroes" episode 4x04 was. Then Zachary Quinto tweeted a link to the season 4 teaser trailer. All I can say is, "Holy crap! It looks fantastic!" Is it Sept 21st yet? Also? Robert Knepper. :-D

3. And I came across a "Due South" Fraser/Vecchio BDSM fic that was *really* good and in character. \0/

4. I have to give "Entertainment Weekly" credit for using the word "homoerotic" in last week's issue when talking about the dvd release of Fast & Furious. (Well, it *is*.)

5. I've been squeeing over things more than normal today. Not sure if I should worry or not, but it's definitely a good thing.

6. My mom and I watched Cube. I was a little worried about watching it because I'm not a big fan of that genre and I've heard that Vincenzo Natali is weird. But I've heard a lot of good things about it and I was going through a bit of a Hewlett withdrawl. I did like the movie and at the end, my mom was like, "That was different." Meanwhile, I had fun spotting the 'Canadian-ness' of the film - like using Saskatoon as a location in the same sentence as the Pentagon and saying 'zed' instead of 'z' for a math problem. :-P

Isn't that what we all say at the end of ALL of Vin's movies? :)
