While it's easy for me to see how I take after my dad's side of the family, there are times when I'm reminded that I'm also my mother's daughter. Like the fact that we both like vampire stories.

I got the first disc of "Ultraviolet" yesterday and took it over to her place today, figuring I could get her to watch at least an episode with me. Well, we watched all three episodes on the disc (we usually stop after two episodes of anything) and she wants me to bring the next disc too. :-P

I remember watching the first episode of this on TV (maybe SciFi channel?) and keep meaning to rent it to see the whole series. I think I'll head over to Netflix and add it to my queue. :)
