I hate my allergies. (My voice is mostly back, but still a bit scratchy, and the sinuses are mostly clear - I think. I hope.)

But I can't seem to concentrate on anything for too long. (Well, moreso than normal.)

I saw Wolverine yesterday with some friends and liked it a lot. And Liev Schreiber totally sold me on Victor Creed. I may have to go see it again while it's in the theatre.

And we decided afterwards, on a whim from looking at the posters, that we wanted to see the new Star Trek movie. And we wanted to go to the theatre on either Thusday or Friday to people watch because it's going to be *insane*. Then we decided that if we were going to do that, we might as well just go see the movie, so we're going to an advanced screening on Thursday night at 7.


I accidentally spoiled myself about Alan being Alpha last Monday, but didn't want to get my hopes up in case it wasn't true. But it was true and I'm really excited about it!

I think because When the reveal happened, many people probably had Chrissy's reaction - "OMG! Alan's being all evil and not very Wash-like!" My reaction, on the other hand was, "Heee! Now everyone's going to see how awesome and talented Alan is!"

It so was! :-D x1000 Alan really is an amazing actor and I hope this leads to even more great parts. (Don't get me wrong - I love the comedic stuff too, I just hope this helps him not get typecast.) And another good showing of him doing something non-comedic is from a few years back - an episode of CSI (season 7, ep 6) where he played a reformed pedophile. (Both e_dog and I agreed that he was really creepy in that role and that we loved him for it while we hated the character.

I found out from looking at Alan's IMDb.com page. (And, yeah, TV Guide's horrible for spoiling. So's Entertainment Weekly from time to time.)
