sam_gamgeeI finally gave in and fiddled with my iPod a bit tonight. I'll admit I'm a little scared of it. (I think it's because normally I can mess around with tech and figure it out, but somehow I don't get the same vibe from my iPod that I do from everything else.)
I also called the doctor's office today to schedule an appointment to get my ear unclogged. I first called my "family" doctor this morning, to find out that she was no longer with the practice she used to be with and they gave me her new number. So I called *that* number and negotiated with a nice secretary about appointment times and finally agreed to one on Tuesday at 10:45am with one of the other doctors and would have to be there for a while so I could fill out new patient information. Technically, I'm not a new patient for my doctor, but I am for that practice. So this afternoon, I called my doctor's old practice back and said something to the effect of, "I know Dr. M--- is no longer with you, but is there any way I can stay with you guys and have someone look at my ear and get set up with another doctor?" And they were really cool and said, "Yes - that's not a problem." I was able to get an appointment for Friday morning at 8:45am (before work) with one of the doctors for my ear and a promise to get set up with one of the doctors. So, I called the first appointment place back and cancelled.
