I'm beginning to hate my muse for the current SGA fic I'm working on. I had started quite some time ago and then dropped it because it didn't feel like it had enough direction.

Well, I dusted it off not too long ago along with a few other things to see if I could finish it and as I did so, revised what I had (which was about 4000 words) to make it better. I finished that, did an outline for it, and set it aside to move on to prepping some other things. When I picked it up the other day to actually start writing it, I revised it *again* to flesh a few things out and change a couple other things to bring it more in line with what I was imagining for the story. Then while I was brainstorming about it at work, I decided that it would actually work better from Carson's POV than John's - which meant *more* revisions when I sat down to work on it tonight. Oy vey! But I think it's in a much better place now, so that makes me happy. I just don't want to have to revise this section until I'm done my first draft.

I hope that after watching the rest of Hellboy 2 tonight, the same thing doesn't happen as Sunday night. Sunday night, I finished watching Forbidden Kingdom right before bed. Then I had a dream that Jackie Chan had somehow been invited to my grandparents' house for Thanksgiving dinner and that he and I were friends. And then somewhere along the way in our ensuing adventures, he turned into Hal Ozsan.

I am so jealous that you got a Jackie Chan dream. :covets:

LOL. I will admit that I do really like him a lot. I wish I could do even a fraction of what he does now, let alone when I'm 54.
