My earliest childhood memory is being on a plane. I was four and we (my parents, brother - who was two at the time, and I) were on our way home from visiting my maternal grandparents in Mississippi. I was sitting between my parents and my dad was reading a book to me.

I've decided to just go ahead and embrace the insanity. I'm going to go to Farpoint for the day on Saturday so I can see Alan. I think I'm going to regret it too much if I don't.

Yeah, it's going to be weird being there without you! :-( Oh, I'll definitely take my camera and have a great time.

And I was originally thinking, "Man, there isn't going to be anyone there I know." Then I started thinking about it and was like, "Well, Loretta will probably be there. And I'm sure Martha and Ian will be too.... And I'm sure I'll recognize people that were also at Shore Leave." And it made me laugh because it's like, wow, I do meet people at cons. :-P

Hard to imagine an event in this area without Loretta popping up. *g* Too bad it wasn't in March. Would have loved to have seen Alan! (That commercial with him and Dule is so cute!)

That's very true. The thought actually crossed my mind, "Well, I could just ask Loretta about Farpoint when I see her at Shore Leave." :-P

The first time I saw the commercial, I was like, "Alan! No! That's not Alan." Then the second time I saw it, I was like, "Yep! It's Alan! Yay!" While the Hellboy one definitely has a broader appeal, I think this one's definitely for the geeks. :-P
