My earliest childhood memory is being on a plane. I was four and we (my parents, brother - who was two at the time, and I) were on our way home from visiting my maternal grandparents in Mississippi. I was sitting between my parents and my dad was reading a book to me.

I've decided to just go ahead and embrace the insanity. I'm going to go to Farpoint for the day on Saturday so I can see Alan. I think I'm going to regret it too much if I don't.

Date: 2009-02-13 03:32 am (UTC)And I was originally thinking, "Man, there isn't going to be anyone there I know." Then I started thinking about it and was like, "Well, Loretta will probably be there. And I'm sure Martha and Ian will be too.... And I'm sure I'll recognize people that were also at Shore Leave." And it made me laugh because it's like, wow, I do meet people at cons. :-P

Date: 2009-02-13 03:39 am (UTC)The first time I saw the commercial, I was like, "Alan! No! That's not Alan." Then the second time I saw it, I was like, "Yep! It's Alan! Yay!" While the Hellboy one definitely has a broader appeal, I think this one's definitely for the geeks. :-P
