Nov. 28th, 2008 11:56 pmToday was a good day.
I spent a couple of hours this morning at Panera and got my writing done. (I love Write or Die.)
From there, I met Jean and her friend B and we saw Australia. It was a really good movie, regardless of the fact that it's just shy of 3 hours long. And I was surprised that it was a sold-out showing. (Though, it was in one of the smaller theatres, but still....) Melissa was going to come with us, but she couldn't get in. The audience was a fair amount of fun too. Such as giggling during a scene when Hugh Jackman's character poured a bucket of water over himself (whereas Jean and I were laughing hysterically amid oogling him). And then there were a few whistles and "oooh"s when he showe up to a ball all cleaned up and clean shaven (which then cued our laughter again).
Tonight I went over to my mom's house and, along with one of John's nieces, helped them set up their Christmas tree.
