Nov. 12th, 2008 11:55 pmI'm quite enjoying my vacation, though I feel a bit lost without the routine of work. (But, believe me, I'm not complaining!) My dad, on the other hand, I think is trying to micromanage my time and wants me to be doing stuff and doesn't seem to understand the concept of a "stay-home vacation" in which you only do things if you want to or absolutely need to.
libralyte is coming down tomorrow and will be here through the weekend (yay!) and he's trying to micromanage our time and plan stuff for us to do and a number of times I've had to tell him, "She and I will plan things when she comes down. You know how we are - most of the time we plan on the fly and it's worked quite well for us." My dad's very much a doer and a planner. And while I know I have the planning gene from him, I'm also the type that will make up a plan and then throw it out the window the first chance I get. Go figure.

In other news, I'm almost done my second 4200 word day in a row. I have 400 more words to go and then I'll be good. Then tomorrow morning I'll have a very doable goal of 1600 words to do before I go to pick up
libralyte from the train station. Then I won't have to worry about writing until Monday. Whoo!
