I've decided that I'm going to literally save my pennies (and nickles, dimes, and quarters) and do something big for my 30th birthday. Maybe see how much money I've amassed at that point, go to a travel agent and say, "I've got $X -where will that get me?"

I'm not sure what made me think of it, but I'm going to venture it's a mix between seeing various "Happy birthday ___" on LJ and just everything that's been going on here.

And, also, we've never been big on birthdays in my family. Sure, we had parties and all when my brother and I were little, but the last time I remember doing anything special was for my 13th birthday. (Which, oddly enough, was to go see Stargate.) Since then it's been going to my grandparents' for dinner. I didn't do anything special for my 21st because I was doing a show then and between that and school, it just never happened.

This should be interesting. Anyone interested in maybe doing something in about three and a half years?

LOL. That thought did cross my mind. Or, more specifically, "If CreationCon is still doing Stargate cons in Vancouver then, I'm so there!" (Which is a possibility, considering that they're still doing Farscape cons.)

So, if I do go to Canada, are you game? ;-D

I'm always game for Canada. I wanted to go back before I even landed on my return flight this year.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I want SGA to do 10 seasons too! I'm just a bit gun shy with the way my shows keep getting cancelled.
