Apparently, writing is obviously quite cathartic for me. My original goal for today was to finish up the 400 words from yesterday, plus writing 2400 today to keep up so I don't get too far behind between Shore Leave and going to visit [livejournal.com profile] eternalmusings.

4020 / 2800 words. 144% done!

I'm still a little 'grr' about last night, but I feel a lot better now that I've gotten it out through writing. And thanks to everyone for your comments and support.

Oh, and my brother made a comment about me getting an apartment. While I would like to move out and all, and the apartment he was telling me about is in my price range, it's across the hall from him. I don't know if I want to put myself through that.

Good grief, do NOT live across the hall from your brother. Sheesh. He has some nerve thinking you'd WANT to. *Hugs*

Yeah, I'm not planning on it. The only reason I'd consider it is the rent is optimal. But it's very no frills (which, generally, is fine, but considering that it doesn't have AC doesn't really jive with me right now, since I don't do very well in humidity.)

*hugs back*

Your brother's being awfully pushy, lately. Personally, I moved 3000 miles from my immediate family because I wanted to avoid the annoyances that come with them.

I'd hold out for a different apartment, especially since I bet the very next thing out of your brother's mouth if you did take the apartment would be to ask for your spare key.

I guess the question is if you want your brother keeping an eye on you.

Yeah, either he would or he'd always be knocking on the door for something, since I'm the dependable one. While, in theory, giving a key to a neighbor is a good idea in case you lock yoursel out - just, no in this instance.

I'd rather not, really. And, yeah, he has been pushy lately. And it's really touch and go too - I'll hardly see him and barely speak with him and then when we actually do, it's stuff like this and him making insane threats and everything. *shakes head*
