I've now finished the Captain Jack episodes of "Doctor Who" from season 1 and I have to say, I enjoyed them. And, yes, this was my first brush with DW too. I really did like Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor, so I may just have to watch some of David Tennant's Doctor out of curiosity. But "Torchwood" first.
I have to love Greg - one of my managers. This morning he comes to me and says, "I need to have a word with you" and walks away from the counter. As I follow him, I'm a little worried, but at the same time think, "It's Monday morning, I haven't had time to do anything yet." He then says to me, "Guess what I forgot?" And I was like, "What?" And he says, "We have Arsht Hall today and tomorrow for summer session. Can you do it?" Needless to say, I was quite relieved.
So I got to spend this afternoon up in Wilmington reading and writing fic and hanging out. And doing a bit of work by way of selling books for summer classes, but not much.
