Today was also hot and humid.

The church picnic was nice, even if I didn't stay long. This was partly due to the heat, and partly due to going my dad's girlfriend's son's high school graduation party. The party was nice and it was nice to finally get to meet her kids (her daughter is a few years older than her son) - if briefly.

I didn't stay very long there either, but I was getting a little concerned about the heat and my personal health, considering that I had drank a bottle of water and a small soda over a two hour period (as well as eaten some food) and hadn't need to use the bathroom once (which is not normal for me). So, I left in search of somewhere cooler and where I could rehydrate.

Which lead me to coming home and jumping in the pool. Which was a cool 70 degrees and felt *wonderful*.

I've started watching the Captain Jack episodes from "Doctor Who" in preparation for Torchwood. I've only seen one episode, but so far I like it.

I watched the first two episodes of "Torchwood" tonight and I quite enjoyed it. I think I'm going to catch up on "Doctor Who" at some point.
