(no subject)

So, even though my brother has moved out, about half (though probably more) of his wardrobe is now residing in a pile on a loveseat in our family room. He's gotten into the habit of coming over to do his laundry and then leaving while it's still in the washing machine.

While I do the laundry, I refuse to fold his. I figure that if Chase feels he's mature enough to be living on his own, he's mature enough to do his own laundry. And my dad must feel the same way, because some of the clothing has been here for over a week and he hasn't said anything to me about folding it. And if he did, my response will be in the vicinity of "*laughs* Uh, *no*."

On a plus side, my truck's finish being repaired and my dad and I are going to get it tomorrow. He took it to a friend to get some plugs replaced when he realized it was a bigger job than he could do. From there we found out that one of the heads blew, so that had to get fixed. Then we were told, "Well, it's running, but you need a new radiator." *headdesk* But now it has a new radiator and I will be getting my truck back tomorrow morning. Yay!

And I know this probably means nothing to any of you, but I now have a copy of Tim James' "I'll Be Your Secret". I love that song *waaay* too much.

Kudos on not folding the laundry, but you shouldn't even do his laundry, IMHO. He's gotten into the habit of leaving because his clothes are getting washed with or without him there. So yeah, if he leaves a load in the washer, put them in the dryer (cause wet clothes = icky, possibly moldy clothes), but otherwise I'd just leave the dirty clothes in a pile and let him deal with the fact that they're dirty when he gets around to needing them. He'll learn.

I don't do his laundry. Like you said, I put them in the dryer, then dump them on the couch.
