Work was good and productive today, aside from a co-worker who was being irksome. (I think she feels put upon that some of her duties have been changed and she feels that sometimes I'm stepping on her toes or infringing or something when I'm honestly not trying to - it's just that I'm trying to do what I've been told and that sometimes it ends up messing with her rigid sense of what's supposed to be going on.)

But tonight was the de_writers monthly meeting, so that made a lot of things better. Tonight, it was attended by e_dog, katpetal, kennycelican, and nekastale and her mom, and myself.

Then my dad was being weird about me riding my bike to the shopping center (which is only slightly off my route home from Panera) to drop off a movie "because it's too dark and it's dangerous". Um...the parking lot's better lit than some parts of my neighborhood! And considering the fact that I have a white bike with a little headlight and a "brake" light and reflectors, I'm wearing a buff-colored coat and kakhis, and have a sky blue and white backpack, I'm kind of hard to miss. And since I'll be riding right next to the curb, the only way I could get hit would be if someone rubbed up against the curb. *rolls eyes* So, I was good and came home and got my truck. And while I was in the shopping center? I saw two people on bikes. I think someone may've been mocking me.
