eternalmusings came up last night and we had a good time hanging out and then watching SGA.

Today, we went to the diner for lunch before heading over to my work so I could exchange her Christmas gifts. She ended up getting Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman and a Mensa Soduko book.

From there we went to the movies and saw The Other Bolyen Girl - which was quite good.

This evening we've been hanging out and watching SGA episodes ("The Rising" and "Letters From Pegasus"). As well as an episode of "So Graham Norton" (since we now get BBC America on the new Fios service). And I'm quite happy that the chili I had put in the crock pot this morning before we left turned out rather nicely.

Also? I have to laugh - yesterday my dad asks me, "Do you know what these two boxes are for?" And I replied, "I have no idea. Look at the label and open them." My dad looks at the labels and says, "They're from Verizon Telecommunications. (pause) I think they're two of the routers. We should send them back." Me - "No! Don't send them back! What if the one we have dies?"
