So, we all remember the issues my dad and I had getting a new router from Verizon, right?

Well, for the past week or so, I've been getting little notes from my computer saying that my battery's starting to enter its death throws and that I should buy a new one. So, I did on Saturday, figuring it would probably be a good idea to do so before the battery died completely. (Though, I do have an adapter to plug it in, so that wouldn't be a huge deal.) My confirmation email said that it wouldn't be coming until this coming Friday or Saturday. Which is fine, I figured it would take a bit for the battery to be pulled, packed, and shipped, and maybe some extra time, since I had ordered it on Saturday.

On Monday, there's a box sitting on my dresser with the rest of my mail. It's my new battery. Yay, Dell!

And speaking of my dad - he came to pick me up from work today and on the way home, Paula Cole's "I Don't Want to Wait" (the "Dawson's Creek" theme) came on and my dad randomly comments, "I really liked that show - "Dawson's Creek"." There's a bit of a pause and then he adds, "He kind of fell off the face of the Earth, didn't he?" So my dad and I spent a couple minutes talking about what everyone's done since then.

And as

eternalmusings knows - my dad also loved "The O.C.". Go figure.

I think I'm sick - I'm worn out and cold (though a bit better now that I've had a hot shower and I'm in my room with the door mostly shut and the little ceramic space heater going). And, yes, I'm planning on going to bed soon.
