Also?

My heels hurt.

And I have no idea why.

They have a tendency to be dry and cracked (professional grade sandpaper, anyone?), but I've been really good for the past few months or so with doing exfoliation and using lotion to heal them and the calluses seem to be, if not almost gone, then at least under a fair measure of control.

Is the pain on the surface of your heels or deep inside? If it's on the surface of your heels, you might need to see a dermatologist. On the other hand, if the pain seems to be deep inside the heel, take it from one who's been there, see a podiatrist ASAP. (There's a reason I spelled "heel" "hell" every time the first time through. Thank goodness I paid enough attention, even at nearly 3 AM, and changed the spellings. *grin* I tellya, I've been through hell with my feet!)

I'm not sure? I think a bit of both. It's gone now, but I'm going to wait a few days and see if it comes back, so that I a) don't go in and say, "well, my feet were hurting the other day for one day, but they haven't hurt since" or b) can say, "my feet hurt and here's x, y, and z about the pain, etc."
