Yay! We got the new router today!

And I have to laugh because to some extent, they didn't even do that right. The guy on the phone last night told me that someone would be by between 10am and 2pm, so we were going to have my grandfather come over to let whomever in.

Well, I get a call at 9:15 this morning and a guy says, "Hi, I'm with Verizon and I'll be there in 10-15 minutes." So I quickly called my grandfather because I was about to leave for work. He came over and, literally, a minute later the Verizon guy shows up. So I showed him where our desktop was set up and gave him some basic info and left.

So we now finally have a new router!

Why does Pippin in that shot incredibly remind me of someone, and I can't think of who? My first thought--weirdly enough--was Carson Beckett, but I don't quite think that's it...*is confused*

I'm...liking it. Not loving it, but liking it. Certainly enough to keep watching it, certainly enough to want to discuss it afterwards, but...maybe not enough to fangirl over it? Though I will totally admit that I cried at the end of "Poisoning the Well". Not that I'm shocked, or anything; somehow, even though I find Sheppard more physically attractive, I have such a THING for Beckett! (And no, it's not just the accent...but God knows, it doesn't hurt!)

Yeah, it wasn't until season 2 that I really fell in love with it. And "Poisoning the Well" definitely packed a whollup. And, I'll admit, I saw "Trinity" (a season 2 ep) before I actually started watching the show and I'm going, "Dude - Sheppard's really hot. Wait. Why am I going for him right away? Normally it takes me a while to warm up to pretty boys like him while I fall for guys like Rodney right away." (Which I sort of did.) And, honey, I think *EVERYBODY* has a think for Beckett. :-P

(And could it possibly be because of meeting my PMG back in November?)

LOL. Well, I said that because you always say "my PMG" meaning Paul Michael Glaser so as to not confuse him with Paul McGillion, so I figured you'd know I meant Paul McGillion if I said that. I can say "my Paul" from here on out, if that's easier. :-P

And if I did meet Paul Michael Glaser, believe me - both you and Kimberly would've heard about it.

Nah, I don't mind. Honestly, it amuses me more than anything else.

And no, if you ever did meet "my" PMG...well, yeah, ok, Kimberly and I would've heard about it, but you also wouldn't be telling me that now, because one, the other, or both of us would have already killed you for not taking us with! *g*
