Jan. 26th, 2008 11:59 pmToday was an unintentional movie day.
This afternoon, I met up with Heather and Chris and we saw 27 Dresses - which was very cute and fun. (And I quite enjoyed being able to stare at James Marsden for almost two hours. His smile is just - wow.)
As I was eating dinner, I popped in one of my Blockbuster Online movies because I need to take them back.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that East Side Story was a good gay romantic comedy. Basic synopsis: Diego, a Latino living in East L.A., has recently broken up with his very closeted boyfriend and is planning on moving away when Wesley, a white man, and Jonathan, his partner of two years, move in across the street. Diego and Wes find they're attracted to each other and that they're very well matche, but hit a few bumps in the course of getting to know each other, some of which you wouldn't quite expect.
Tonight, while I was being domestic and folding laundry, I watched Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Still as enjoyable as when I saw it when it first came out. Though, as I told
eternalmusings, there were a few times when I went o_O because there were some funny similarities to SGA.
Well, off to do a bit more writing. This fic's coming along pretty well so far - which makes me really happy.
