[livejournal.com profile] e_dog came over after work and we hung out. We were going to watch A Dog's Breakfast, but I can't seem to find my DVD copy *anywhere*. Which worries me, since I haven't taken it out of the house yet, as far as I know and there's only a few places inside the house that it would be. Did I somehow loan it to one of you lot and then forget that I did?

We ended up watching the first two episodes of season 6 of SG-1 instead, since she's working her way through the show and that's what she's up to. I had forgotten that "Redemption" was a Rodney episode. It was neat seeing him back then and knowing where he is now. And, I think, a lot of the stuff that at first comes off as very arrogant is that, but at the same time, you can see the insecurities and such underneath.

I love them both too. Rodney more, I think, but that's only because I've had more time to get to know him. Jonas is really cute. He can be a bit Mary-Sue-ish at times, but Corin Nemic's able to keep it adorable enough that you forgive him for it. :-D

I did find my movie - my brother accidentally grabbed it when he was packing up some of his stuff. I asked him to bring it back, but who knows when it'll get here. But when it does, we'll have to give it another go.

Oh, and my dad, for some odd reason, thought you were a guy. (I guess because of your name and because I hadn't specifically said you were a girl. I actually hadn't said either way.) Go figure.

Heh, won't be the first time I was mistaken for a guy. =D The baseball cap and short hair probably didn't help my case. haha. I'm a total tomboy, so it's cool.

so the movie wasn't really lost! that's good. Yes, we shall have another go and watch it. =)

*Giggles*

Well, apparently, when my dad heard you were coming over, he just assumed you were an "Aaron". And for some odd reason, he assumed that we were together and that I hadn't told him. (Which is *really* odd, because if that was the case, I would've told him.)

Then when he came home and found out that you were an "Erin", it was a bit more of an "Oh". And that I had left a *few* things out. (Some of this was subtext in the conversation we had yesterday.)

This just amuses me greatly, partly because it confirms that I come by a few things quite naturally. And also because I think my dad's thought I was a lesbian off-and-on for a few years now, based on what one of my best friends told me a while back. Where he gets it, I have *no* idea, since I really don't do *anything*.
