A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it".
1. I sometimes start randomly thinking in Spanish. I want to become more fluent in it.
2. I wrote my first fanfic in second grade. It was based on "Peter Rabbit". It was actually for school.
3. I didn't write again until eighth grade, when I wrote an RPF fic with a Mary Sue as the main character. This was also for school. (And, as far as I remember, I got a good grade on it.)
4. I wrote original fic for a while, until I got pulled into "Buffy" by a male friend in 10th grade and from there wandered my way into fandom.
5. I've inherited my dad's wanderlust. For the most part, I can satify it with short jaunts - like to visiteternalmusings, nakedwesley or to D.C.
6. I've also inherited my mom's OCD. Though, it's not as bad as it used to be. It mainly manifests itself as needing things to be organized - which is rather funny, because I am probably one of the most disorganized people ever. It also tends to manifest itself as a desire to clean as a way to relax after a stressful period.
7. I have a *thing* about my closet door - it has to be completely closed in order for me to be able to sleep soundly. This stems from a family trip where, on the way down to Florida where my mom put on an audiotape of Stephen King's "The Monkey" when she thought both my brother and I were asleep, but I actually heard it. When we got home, I was convinced the thing was in my closet, so the door had to be completely shut in order for me to be safe. (I was maybe 8? Somewhere around there.) I still can't sleep with it open - even a crack. When I was in college, I shared a quad room that had three walk-in closets and mine was the closest to the door, whereas the beds were on the other side of the room. The other closet doors could be wide open and I'd be completely fine, but mine had to be completely shut.
