sam_gamgeeAnd another slow news day. It's odd how quiet things are at work, now that the semester's over and football's done with.
I need to get two more secondary gifts, then I'll be done shopping. My goal is to do the wrapping on Saturday.
My dad and I finally decorated the tree tonight. (We usually do it before this.) We got it when we normally do - the first weekend in December. It's just been on our back porch since then and it's been a process getting it inside. My brother brought it in and set it up either Sunday or Monday morning and I remember partially waking up and thinking, "is he burning the pine candle in the downstairs bathroom?" and hearing Band of Brothers playing. Then Tuesday night, he and my dad put the lights on the tree. And tonight my dad and I decorated it. And Patch (our cocker spaniel) was in the middle of it, wanting to know what was going on. (Thankfully, though, she was good.)
