Military inadvertently recruits gays
The Army, Navy and Air Force unwittingly advertised for recruits on a website for gays, who are barred from military service if they are open about their sexual orientation.
When informed Tuesday by USA TODAY that they were advertising on GLEE.com, a networking website for gay professionals, recruiters expressed surprise and said they would remove the job listings.
Given the fact that the military wouldn't be in this position with some of its job openings if it hadn't fired the gays in the first place, you'd think they'd want them back. And given that there are many gays who would willingly serve if they could....
And maybe USA Today shouldn't have alerted them. Then maybe the military might realize that (*gasp*) gays really aren't a threat.
