EEE! SGA!

Oh, Rodney!

Chuck!

Hahaha. I love you, Ronon.

Radek!

I have the feeling that Rodney is to Atlantis what Keller is to Elizabeth.

I'm sorry, but I have no respect for Sam suddenly having a ponytail.

I'm happy that David's still the one with the 'and'.

I'm surprised that Rodney's not the one in charge if Elizabeth is incapacitated, considering it's a SCIENCE expedition.

"Dumb it down any more and you're going to get hit."

"At least we're not lost anymore."

*random shot of John looking stoney-faced*

Ha! They tied Ronon down.

Wow, they have a lot of jumpers.

"If McKay can do it, you can do it."

*visual of all the Jumpers coming out of the bay* Oh, that's cool.

Okay, John's plan was really cool.

Hah, every time Rodney gets excited about something - "Col. Sheppard, Dr. McKay - please report to the Control Room." He's gotta stop jinxing them.

How does half an hour go so quickly?

Oh no! Radek! I knew someone was going to get hit as soon as "micro asteroids" came up.

Awww, Ronon's thanks is very cute. And Ronon - she can hear you.

John and Rodney fighting is rather fun to watch. But they make up quickly.

As [livejournal.com profile] luvxander said, and they didn't even shave her head.

Next week on Atlantis is their take on Ocean's 11.

And this was featured earlier today on Yahoo! - Top 10 Ways to Destroy Earth And I love the fact that there's a higher chance of us getting taken out by Replicators than by an asteroid. And it took me a moment, but then I had to laugh that I actually understood it. It seemed apropos for tonight.

Ah, but they did shave her head. What's funnier is that the nanites regrew it!

Great episode! Love all the different interactions: Sheppard & Radek, Ronon & (unconscious) Weir, McKay & Keller...

Did you catch Rodney calling Sheppard 'John'? Squee!

I think they've established that Weir and Sheppard have joint command, with Weir 'officially' in charge, so it does make sense that Sheppard take over. However, you could make the argument that McKay is next in line of the civilians. Frankly I don't think he'd want the job. *g*

Oh, right. Duh. I think I was still in shock at how John and Rodney were fighting.

Yeah, the interactions were great. I've read a couple short John/Radek fics and after last night, I was like, "Yep, that's definitely one of my pairings." And I think I like Keller. Part of me wants to go, "But she's not Carson!", but I'm being good.

Eee!

Well, it just seemed at the beginning of the show that they put a lot of emphasis on the fact that this was to be a science/R&D sort of thing and that the military was there mainly because "have you seen what's out there?" and John's third on the list. Or, at least, that's how I've interpreted it. I'm sure Rodney is next in line on the civilian side. And I don't think he'd want it either.

I squealed all over my journal. It's just...I love my show SO MUCH! Rodney in the jumper and Ronon with the "thank you, Dr. Weir" and John with the "apology accepted" and just EVERYTHING! Also, from the back? I can totally understand why Chuck can stand in for Joe because they have the same hair!

And RODNEY CALLED HIM JOHN! Made my entire night. JOHN!

(John and Rodney are both at equal responsibility as next in line after Elizabeth, but since this is a military situation it falls to John. If it were a civilian situation, it would fall to Rodney)

Me too! You should've seen me and my friends IM'ing. :-) And Chuck is canon now!

I think Rodney calling John "John" is going to be the only thing anyone will ever remember from this episode. :-D

(Thanks for clearing that up. I, for some reason, was under the impression it was Elizabeth -> Rodney -> John.)

Ah, after 10 years Amanda should have the chance to changer her hair. She like's her hair better long but virtually every SG-1 season has ended on a cliffhanger so her hair at the beginning of the new season has to match end of last.

Oh, I agree that she should have the chance to change it. It's just that it seemed odd that, if SG-1 and SGA are on a fairly similiar calendar that her hair's suddenly that long, considering the cliffhangers. And I'm not against the longer hair - and I even think it looks cute on Amanda - it just seems a bit sudden time-line-wise on Sam.

*snickers WAY too much at Adrian's icon*

That is all. No, really. :-D

Yeah, that was basically my reaction when I first saw it. Thus, why I have it. :-D

*indulges in some icon-lust* hehehe

I don't like Sam's hair long, either, though apparently Amanda T. does like her own hair long. Maybe it'll -- pardon the pun -- grow on me.

Yes, it's a very pretty icon, isn't it?

I like Amanda's hair long - I think it looks quite cute on her. And I'm not necessarily against Sam having long hair, it's just that I've always been under the impression that SGA and SG-1 have been working on a similar calendar, so to see Sam "suddenly" with longer hair was a bit of a shock.

You left out the part where one of them was going to be sleeping on the couch for a while.

I seriously think I'm the only one here who didn't like this episode. I hated how Rodney was treated. Maybe it;s the PMS I'm having, but I was almost in tears. Then Radek pushed me over.
I think I need to see this episode again to really get it, but I am not impressed.

I liked it well enough. I think a lot of my squeeing had to do with the fact that it was a new episode rather than anything. And they did beat Rodney up some, but I feel he gave some back too. And, yes, I did have to remember to breath with Radek.

Friending you having found via [livejournal.com profile] mintroses's meme thing and the fact you mentioned Carson\John!

Read this and knew I had to do it because Ha! They tied Ronon down. This was my immediate thought when he didn't get up to speak to John. But I haven't seen anyone else mention it!

Cool. I just friended you back. And, yes, I fell in love with Carson/John about a week before "Sunday". It would figure, wouldn't it?

That and the way the blanket was thrown over him. I was like, "That's the only option."
