Sep. 21st, 2007 11:53 pmAnd I knew I was forgetting something in my last post!
Two things that made me laugh recently:
1. Yesterday as I was going into work, I had a squirrel growl at me. I heard this weird noise as I was about to go in the door from outside and I look down and between the stone/concrete ashtray and the wall was a squirrel staring up at me.
2. Apparently, my wireless adapter has realized that the Holiday Inn in Oklahoma no longer loves it. (Off and on since I've gotten home on *July 15th*, when I'd go to connect, it would come up with an error message saying that it can't connect to the Holiday Inn.) It has now decided that it's in love with
eternalmusings' internet.

Date: 2007-09-22 07:56 pm (UTC)When I was about 18 years old and still living in Arlington, VA, I was adopted by a squirrel. She would even take nuts from my lips, putting her little paws on either side of my mouth and tugging out the nut. She'd also leap onto the screen door and hang there, chattering loudly, till I came out. She would sit on my knee and eat whatever I gave her. Her love, however, extended only to me. She'd sit on the banister and threaten my mother till Mama would go back inside. Mama liked to sit on the front porch and got growled at a lot. So your squirrel story made me smile.
Silly adapter. *grin*
