Catching up part two
Jul. 16th, 2011 11:59 pm14 – Ratings – how high are you comfortable with going? Have you ever written higher? If you're comfortable with NC-17, have you ever been shocked by finding that the story you're writing is G-rated instead?
I'm comfortable with and have written up through NC-17. I don't know if there's anything higher than that, unless you want to count kinky stuff - and I've written that too. And, yes, I have written at least one story where I was planning on it being very NC-17 and it ended up being very G instead. But, hey, whatever ends up working for the story.
15 – Warnings – What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what's the strangest thing you've warned for in a fic?
I think it's important to warn for things like rape, torture, etc, since they're very touchy subjects for a lot of people. And possibly character death, though I could see not doing it if it's supposed to be a shock and surprise. I don't think I've ever actually warned for anything.
